Great for Skill Building
Perfect for beginners learning basic tumbling and balancing skills, teachers can use wedges to help students become familiar with these skills. Wedges provide momentum and offer direction for tumbling bodies, helping students focus on control and technique as the wedge does the rest. Wedges also serve as a superb physical therapy tool, helping teachers position students with limited range of motion for treatment and other activities.
Sturdy Construction
Traditional, one-piece wedges feature a 21 oz coated nylon cover, which is extremely thick and durable enough to withstand institutional use. Available in various sizes, these wedges let teachers and coaches find the one that works best for their students and athletes.
The folding wedge features 13 oz vinyl for a combination of durability and flexibility. This wedge folds over itself for easy storage and transportation, as well as for use in other activities that require a square base. Hook-and-loop fasteners keep the sections safely in place when folded.
Both options have a dense urethane foam core to support the activities and weights of students atop them. Both will also wipe clean easily and do not absorb water or sweat, helping sustain their integrity over time.
